The Deep Jimi and the Zep Creams story starts in a small garage in Keflavik when four teenagers started playing songs by their favorite bands.
Soon they were on their way to America were they recorded their first album; "Funky Dinasour", which was released by Atco-East/West and produced by Kramer.
Before Funky Dinasour was released the band also recorded two EP's; "Blow up", which was a live performance at CBGB's and then "Deep Jimi and the Zep Creams". Both of these albums were released by Atco-East/West but under the aliases "Technicolour" and "Phonogroove Records".
Since then Deep Jimi has recorded two albums which were released by Geimsteinn and their latest “Deep Jimi and the Zep Creams” was released in November 2005.
